Senior Dues

Senior Dues deadline has passed. Dues are now $140. Any seniors who hasnt paid, must do so immediately in a form of a money order made out to "John Dewey High School". NO CHECKS, NO CASH!!! Payments can be given to Mr. Riccobono in room 121. He will most often be in room 121 after E-band during the day. If you are not sure whether you are graduating or not in June 2007, you should still pay dues on time so that a yearbook can be ordered for you.

Your senior dues include: yearbook, graduation uniform, diploma case, cost of graduation and senior awards night, and whatever is left over will be donated to the school in the form of a class gift. And yes, the yearbook is in color. There is no deduction for anything in the senior dues. When you the $130, you pay for the enitre package.

The S.O. has nothing to do with the senior dues and class rings. If you have any questions about your senior activities you can always ask your questions here or go to room 121.

Expenses include the printing of the program for the night and the certificates.
Everyone will get what they ordered with their senior dues in June.

If you have any questions or comments feel free to leave it in the comment space and we will respond ASAP.

Something Different

So as long as I'm asking all Dewey Seniors to check the senior blog often throughout senior year, I might as well make it worth your while. With that in mind, I figured I'd post this. Bentely College, which is a business school in the Boston area, is sponsoring an internship with Mets.com. The internship is open to any high school student between the ages of 13 and 18. I know I'd sign up if I quallified. But I can't, so hopefully some of you will. All I ask is that if one of you gets the internship and ends up with a career professional sports, you remember the guy that started you off and hook me up with some free tickets.

Pictures

- If you have not sent in your proofs to Thornton Studios yet, DO IT NOW!

- There are no plans to retake yearbook photos. Anyone that may have told you otherwise is a big liar.

-Any questions you have about picture orders you have made should be addressed to Thornton Studio. Mr. Riccobono has nothing to do with your personal picture order.

-If you never received your proofs, check with Mr. Riccobono in room 121. Some could not be delivered to students and were instead sent to the school. Otherwise, contact Thornton.

Questions regarding lost pictures or proofs please contact Thorton Studio with the link provided above. If you still need their telephone number, come to room 121.

Class Rings

Those of you who wish to purchase a class ring can do so on October 12. A representative from Jostens will be stationed outside room 121 from 10:30 am until 12:30 pm on that day. Have your money for him on that day. He will accept cash, money order or personal check ( I don't know if he takes credit cards). You can pick up a catalog of ring options and prices in room 121. After you have given Jostens your order, your ring will be sent to you by mail. If you have any problems, you should contact them. If you do want to buy a class ring, make sure you buy it on October 12, because this is your only chance to do so.
